About Forge Financial Advisory

Meet Stacy Sass

MY MISSION

To make your job easier and managing your business more worthwhile — whatever that looks like for you and what you've built.

MY STORY

I’m Stacy Sass, founder of Forge Financial Advisory.
I joined a family-owned metal fabrication company in Austin as CFO in 2000, when the business was struggling. Financial systems were a mess, decisions were being made based on who was screaming the loudest and what had to be paid to keep the doors open, and the company was mired in debt. I rebuilt the financial infrastructure from the ground up and got us on a path to expansion.

In 2014, after my mother's passing, I stepped into ownership as the second generation. I led the company as President through 3X revenue growth between 2013 and 2022, while orchestrating a multi-year exit strategy that handed the business to its third generation of family owners.

That path taught me something I now carry into every engagement: whether a business is fighting to survive or running well but stuck below its potential, the cause is usually the same. And it isn't effort. What's missing is financial infrastructure and a financial game plan.

I started Forge Financial Advisory to take what I love and what I learned and put it to work for other business owners, to help them get the kind of financial clarity and structure that makes running the business far less overwhelming. Maybe even fun again.

Confession: I love money. I love financial reports and spreadsheets and accounts that reconcile to the penny. And I really love a creative strategy that generates more energy so you can go fuel whatever wild idea got you into your business in the first place.

MY APPROACH

The numbers and reports mean nothing if they aren't in service of the people doing the building. The entrepreneurs, the founders, the dreamers.

What that looks like in practice: I set up the financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow systems that show you what's really going on inside your business, then I sit across the table from you to help you figure out what to do about it. The goal is more money in the business, good pay for the people who make it run, and something at the end of the day that rewards all your blood, sweat, and tears.

I’d love to hear about your business.

No pitch, no pressure, just a conversation with someone who genuinely lights up over a well-built P&L. You don't have to love the numbers. That's kind of the whole point of calling me.
